Players Plus® Registration - Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

No purchase necessary. The Players Plus® program is open solely to legal residents of the United Kingdom who are 21 years of age or older.

Free Registration

To become a Players Plus member, you must register online or at an NTN iTV Network-subscribing establishment. To be eligible to win prizes, you must be registered and your Players Plus account must be active prior to participating in any promotion. There is no cost to register. To register, either visit www.buzztime.co.uk or visit an NTN iTV Network-subscribing location, turn on a Playmaker®, click on the "MENU" key, access the Players Plus registration form, and complete all required information. By registering, you agree not to allow any other person to use or access your account for the purpose of accumulating Players Plus points. Additionally, you agree not to provide your user name or handle to any other person. You shall provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself ("Registration Data") when completing NTN's registration form. Furthermore, you agree to maintain and properly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. Registration Data and certain other information about you is subject to NTN's privacy policy. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy at www.buzztime.co.uk. To change details of your account after registration send an email to:pplus@buzztime.co.uk. NTN is not responsible for your PIN or chosen player name ("handle") if you misplace, forget or lose such information. A Players Plus account must be active at the time of participation in any promotion. Accounts which have been idle for more than 12 months may be deleted from the database at the discretion of NTN without notice. In the event that an establishment closes or no longer subscribes to the NTN iTV Network, Players Plus accounts from that establishment shall be maintained for 6 months from the occurrence of any such event.

Member-Supplied Information

When you choose a handle, which can be seen by others, you must abide by the rules of common decency. If NTN, in its sole discretion, finds such a handle offensive, it reserves the right to change the handle, remove the account or edit the corresponding handle and/or suspend you from all future games.

Acquisition of Players Plus Points

NTN will present a variety of games, which NTN may add to, delete from or change without notice, at NTN's sole discretion. You may play any game as often as you wish; however, awarding of prizes may be limited. Each game is subject to its own official rules and regulations. The number of points you earn in each game will depend upon many factors, including your performance and the rules of that particular game. Points earned during each game will be added to your Players Plus account, which will be maintained for you by NTN. Points are updated in our corporate database when each subscribing location's NTN computer dials in to NTN's corporate database. In the event that a subscribing location does not maintain a working connection, NTN will not be held responsible for points that are not updated. It is the sole responsibility of each NTN iTV Network-subscribing location to ensure that a connection remains intact. Decisions by NTN on all matters relating to your account shall be final in all respects. NTN is under no obligation to credit or re-credit to your account any points that may have been lost or forfeited due to circumstances including, but not limited to, software malfunctions, re-registration or phone line transmission failures. Your correct PIN and handle must be used each time you play NTN or access your account.

Transfer of Players Plus Points

n the event you decide to change your playing location permanently, you are allowed (but not required) to transfer your account from your old location to a new one. See the Player FAQ on how to transfer your account.

When you transfer your account into a new location, your Players Plus points from your old location will follow you to your new location. However, if you have earned points at the new location, those points will essentially be overwritten by the points being transferred in from the old location. We recognize that there is a certain amount of lag-time between when you set up your new account and when your old account is actually transferred. Since new points are overwritten by the transfer process, it is not our intention to discourage you from playing. Therefore, we will add your accumulated points from your old location plus up to 30,000 points accumulated in your new location. If your new account has less than 30,000 points, only those will be retained.

Combining Players Plus Accounts

Under no circumstance will we combine multiple accounts. This includes accounts from multiple locations as well as accounts within the same location.

Prizes

Prizes offered from time to time are only available to Players Plus members and are subject to the rules set for the relevant competition. Prizes will not be awarded unless the member's account information is true and complete as described above.

General

NTN further reserves the exclusive right, exercisable at any time, without notice, to amend, add to, delete from, alter, or otherwise change these official rules in such manner as NTN, in its sole discretion and without notice, shall determine appropriate. Any member accused of harassing another member in general may be warned by NTN. NTN, in its sole discretion, may disqualify a member from participation in games if such member engages in any conduct that NTN deems to be improper, unfair or otherwise adverse to the operation of NTN or detrimental to other users of NTN's products and services. Such improper conduct includes, but is not limited to, falsifying personal information required during registration, allowing others to use such member's account for the purpose of accumulating points and intentionally trying to defraud or otherwise tamper with the computer programs comprising NTN. NTN may void any points that a member has accrued as a result of such improper conduct. NTN reserves the right, at any time and from time to time, to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, its services or any Players Plus account with or without notice to any user, without liability to any user or any third party.

Trademarks, Copyrights and Proprietary Rights

NTN maintains www.buzztime.co.uk for your personal information, education and communication purposes. NTN has not reviewed all of the sites linked to by NTN and is not responsible for the content of any off-site pages or any other sites linked to NTN. Your linking to any other off-site pages or other sites is at your own risk. Any communication or material you transmit to NTN by electronic mail or otherwise, including any data, questions, comments, suggestion, or the like, is and will be treated as, nonconfidential and non-proprietary. NTN or its affiliates may use anything you transmit or post for any purpose, including, but not limited to, reproduction, disclosure, transmission and publication, broadcast and posting. Furthermore, NTN is free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in any communication you send to NTN for any purpose whatsoever including, but not limited to, developing, manufacturing, and marketing products using such information, without any additional compensation to you.
